I have presented information about a region/country outlining how life is being impacted by changes in the climate. Information included might include:
- Is this country experiencing more extreme weather events?
- Is this country experiencing an increase in climate induced natural disasters such as floods, bushfires?
- How are animals being affected by these changes?
- Are people in this place being affected? If so, how?
BE A POWER SEARCHER
- When researching online it is important to be as specific as you can. For example typing only 'Norway' will give you over 863,000,000 hits!
- However, by typing 'Norway facts' you now only (!) get over 614,000 hits. Still a lot, but better.
- Being even more specific and typing 'Norway facts kids' brings down the number of hits down to 50,600 hits. Much better!
- When searching online, LEAVE OUT words such as 'the', 'for', 'of', 'and'. They are unnecessary and will increase the number of unnecessary hits.
